OBSERVATIONS

Colin Meloy played a solo set at Thalia Hall. Songs played included solo material as well as Decemberists songs, Tarkio songs, and a few covers. Lots of banter about spilling wine on laptop. Ended with an encore that featured a beautiful cover of “Thirteen” by Big Star, concluding with “Oceanside”, a Decemberists b-side.
